Rabbits and Babbitt

Rabbits and Babbitt

Rabbits and Babbitt

(Further Details to be Announced)

Intersection’s final performance of the season is a family program celebrating Milton Babbitt, contemporary music and its cottontail compositions. Babbitt was a prolific serial composer who created over 240 works in his lifetime, and All Set is a jazz-influenced piece that comes to life as one of his most energetic and accessible works. The performance will also feature some young musicians and rabbit-themed works from Gabriela Smith, William Kroll and Susan Kander. Also, join Intersection before the concert for a pre-show instrument building activity, where we’ll make wind instruments out of carrots!
